Metropolitan Cardiovascular Consultants is Hiring a Cardiac Stress Technician Near Beltsville, MD
Job Overview:
We are seeking an Cardiac Stress Test Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare and possess the necessary skills to perform Stress Tests accurately and efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct electrocardiogram (ECG) tests on patients
- Ensure proper placement of electrodes on the patient's body
- Monitor and record ECG readings for diagnostic evaluation
- Assist physicians with pharmacologic and exercise stress tests,
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Adhere to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols
Requirements:
- Proficiency in performing Cardiac Stress Tests
- Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy

- Understanding of physiology and vital signs
- Ability to interpret ECG results accurately and recognize arrhythmias
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Nice-to-have Skills:
- ACLS certification
- Familiarity with aseptic techniques in a medical setting
