Location: METROHEALTH MEDICAL CENTER

Biweekly Hours: 80.00

Shift: 8a-5p

Summary:

In conjunction with department leadership, ensures effective operational, human resource and financial management of assigned department(s) or function(s), ensuring quality, cost-effective and efficient work flows and processes, resulting in a positive patient experience. Accountable for implementation, sustainment and financial viability of current and new initiatives that impact the growth and development of related departments, functions and/or programs. Serve as a role model, and a clinical, and operational resource person.Works collaboratively with service line and support staff on identifying opportunities for new or revised programs to ensure patient access, service line growth as well as development of an effective, high quality, skilled and motivated workforce. Upholds the mission, vision, values, and customer service standards of The MetroHealth System.

Qualifications:

Required: Bachelor’s Degree in a health-related field or business (i.e. Nursing, Nutrition, Social Work, or other Health Profession, Business Administration). In lieu of degree, any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience in addition to the experience stated below. Four years combined progressively responsible clinical and management experience in a healthcare setting including planning, analysis, and budget management; as well as program planning and development. Excellent interpersonal skills required along with experience in working with multi-disciplinary groups. Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. Demonstrated evidence of continuing professional self-development. Excellent critical thinking and analytical aptitude. Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills. Preferred: Master’s Degree in Business, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and/or Health Care Administration. Lean/Six Sigma Certification. Physical Requirements: May sit, stand, stoop, bend, and ambulate intermittently during the day. May need to sit or stand for extended periods. See in the normal visual range with or without correction. Hear in the normal audio range with or without correction. Finger dexterity to operate office equipment required. May need to lift up to twenty-five (25) pounds on occasion. Ability to use computer. Ability to communicate in face-to-face, phone, email, and other communications. Ability to read job-related documents.
