Laboratory Processing Clerk - Pathology Core Lab

Shift: First Shift (7a-3:30p)M-F; with rotating weekends and Holi

Performs a variety of duties in support of Clinical Pathology and Anatomic including but not limited to: processing patient specimens correctly and accurately; accessioning in Lab Information System/Health Information System (LIS/HIS); verifying orders, bar codes, labels, and aliquots; distributing patient samples; verifying sample acceptability and retrieval. Performs patient registration and clerical duties as necessary. Adheres to hospital guidelines, safety and regulatory requirements and quality control standards.
