Location: METROHEALTH MEDICAL CENTER

Biweekly Hours: 80.00

Shift: M-F 8-5

Summary:

Coordinates strategic projects for the Office of Patient Experience (OPX) within the domains of quality, patient safety, and patient experience from initiation to implementation. Collaborates with departments throughout The MetroHealth System to ensure the successful completion of projects. Gains and maintains project sponsorships from senior leadership and stakeholders. Successfully produces project deliverables on time, in budget, and within scope. Upholds the mission, vision, values, and customer service standards of The MetroHealth System.

Qualifications:

Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Business or another related field, or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience in addition to the experience stated below. 3 years of progressively increasing experience working on business and/or strategic projects. Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, including presentation skills. Excellent project facilitation skills. Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite and ability to use project management and process mapping software. Ability to work quickly and efficiently, multi-task, and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment while under deadline pressure. Preferred: Master’s Degree in Business or another related field. Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification. Experience with a large public or academic healthcare system. Experience and proficiency with use of Workfront program management software system. Training and/or certification in Lean Six Sigma. Physical Requirements: May sit, stand, stoop, bend, and ambulate intermittently during the day. May need to sit or stand for extended periods. See in the normal visual range with or without correction. Hear in the normal audio range with or without correction. Finger dexterity to operate office equipment required. May need to lift up to twenty-five (25) pounds on occasion. Ability to communicate in face-to-face, phone, email, and other communications. Ability to see computer monitor and departmental documents.
