All Acute Care Adult Specialty units offer enhanced technology to assist with nursing care, including patient lifts, hands-free communication, virtual whiteboards, and telemetry monitoring capability.

Primary Patient Population:

• Telemetry
• Acute Medical

Primary skills utilized/learned:

• Cardiac Monitoring
• IV insertion, blood draws, Foley catheter insertion, wound care
• Time management, critical thinking, delegating

Personnel ANM will work with :

• Nurse Manager, RNs, LPNs, Patient Care Nursing Assistants (PCNAs), Nurse Interns, Providers

Number of beds on unit:

• 30 beds

Required Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Current registered nurse licensure in the State of Ohio.
• Current AHA certification(s) relevant to clinical practice area (as outlined in the RN Clinical Nurse job description)
• 2 years of experience as a registered nurse.
• Demonstrates strong interpersonal, verbal/written communication and delegation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to interact effectively with a wide range of cultural, ethnic, racial, and socioeconomic backgrounds.
