METRO PROPERTY MANAGEMENT is Hiring a Commercial Property Manager Near Glastonbury, CT

METRO PROPERTY MANAGEMENT is looking for a Commercial Property Manager to join our team in Glastonbury, CT.

Position Summary:

Metro Property Management, LLC is growing, and we are looking for a leader who will oversee multiple commercial business entities and a small staff (1-3 people). The ideal candidate will have three plus years of commercial property bookkeeping experience, CAM reimbursements and QuickBooks experience. This position reports to the Controller.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise, prepare and review data input (A/R, A/P) and monthly financial reports for the properties we manage
  • Assist with journal entries for all properties
  • Prepare bank reconciliations
  • Maintain relationships with financial institutions on funds management
  • Calculate Common Area Maintenance (CAM) reimbursements
  • Assist outside accountants with ad-hoc reports
  • Respond to requests from property owners
  • Continuously work to further train and develop staff
  • Develop and implement new policies as needed
  • Maintain rent rolls
  • Prepare and issue 1099s

Requirements:

  • Three years of commercial property management
  • QuickBooks experience
  • Knowledge of Excel, Word, Adobe
  • Ability to work independently and to meet deadlines
  • Team player who can handle changing priorities
  • Supervisory experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00 - $33.00 per hour
