Metro Parks Tacoma is Hiring a Preschool Instructor - Tacoma Nature Center (Instructor II) Near Tacoma, WA

Based on our internal equity review process, the starting salary for this position will be $18.31The current full hourly range for this position is $18.31 - $25.52
Be a part of our unique nature preschool team, responsible for developing and leading pre-school activities for 3-6 year olds to meet the physical, emotional, intellectual and social needs of the children, all with a nature focus. This school year position is a co-lead with one other instructor for 1 or 2 classes of 12 students each. Some summer teaching opportunities may be possible as well. The position also includes communicating with parents about their child's development; documenting daily class activities and posting in the designated closed facebook groups; preparing and producing written or virtual content as assigned; ensuring a clean, safe and well-maintained environment at all times with support from maintenance staff.Work where you play!Join our team at Metro Parks Tacoma to put your skills to use serving your community and making Tacoma a vibrant, healthy, and welcoming place to live.
