Metro One Ambulance Inc. is Hiring an Operations Manger Near Columbia, SC

Metro One Ambulance is an EMS service of people helping people. The Operations Manager will be ready to serve the communities and employees with excellent management skills and customer service.

Our Operational Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of our ambulance service. The Operational Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient delivery of emergency and non-emergent medical care to our community.

Duties include but not limited to:

  • Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
  • Oversee the deployment of ambulance units to respond to emergency and non-emergent calls promptly and efficiently.
  • Manage ambulance fleet maintenance to ensure vehicles are in optimal condition and comply with safety regulations.
  • Coordinate with personnel to ensure proper staffing levels and training requirements are met.
  • Monitor ambulance response times and patient care metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with local authorities and healthcare providers to ensure seamless integration.
  • Ensure compliance with billing and documentation requirements for ambulance services.
  • Lead and mentor a team of operational staff, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance and job satisfaction.
  • Handle escalated issues and complaints from patients, caregivers, and other stakeholders, resolving conflicts and implementing solutions as needed.

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams in high-pressure situations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • In-depth knowledge of ambulance operations, regulations, and standards.
  • Ability to make sound decisions quickly and prioritize competing demands effectively.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
