Currently, we are looking for a Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team for the second shift (swing shift).

Basic Responsibilities:

• Inspect vehicles or equipment to identify problems
• Perform breakdown repairs and preventative maintenance to improve reliability of equipment
• Troubleshoot and repair other types of various production equipment
• Maintains a clean, safe work area in compliance with corporate and OSHA standards
• Must be willing to perform other duties as assigned by supervisor

Basic Requirements:

• Owns and maintains the basic tools to complete repairs
• 3-5 years of experience maintaining and repairing heavy duty equipment and/or diesel trucks
• Experience with hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical repairs
• Electrical and mechanical aptitude
• ASE Certification preferred
• Engine experience on Cummins, Caterpillar, and Detroit Diesel preferred
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to sit, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach and work on your feet for extended periods of time
• The employee occasionally is required to lift up to 50 pounds
