Metro EHS Pediatric Therapy is Hiring an ABA Manager- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Near Bloomfield, MI

Are you a natural leader and have a passion for teaching and managing a team? MetroEHS Pediatric Therapy is seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst to work as an ABA Manager at our neighborhood pediatric therapy center!

We believe that each child can be successful in their own way with the help of others that are dedicated to that success. We are seeking a team player that is willing to help each family in a unique way and collaborate within our multi-discipline tailored clinics.

The ABA Manager will oversee one of MetroEHS’s clinical sites, ABA Programs, which includes ABA services to individuals with Autism, parent education, all BCBA’s/RBTs/BT’s, Practicum Students & etc. for those kiddos who receive ABA services due to the diagnosis of Autism. Ideal candidates possess the ability to lead, develop and advance the clinical ABA direction of the clinic, as well as have an appreciation for various treatment modalities delivered by Speech/OT Therapists, via implementing a collaborative approach of the delivery of services by working harmoniously with the onsite Rehab Manager for Speech/OT therapy services.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills:

  • Current certification as a BCBA through the BACB.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable form of insured transportation
  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal, problem-solving and time management skills
  • 3 years' experience leading/supervising behavioral programs and clinical staff

Experience/ Skills:

  • 3 years' experience leading/supervising behavioral programs and clinical staff;
  • Prior experience with behavioral assessments, behavior support plans, and progress monitoring tools;
  • Strongly rooted clinical skills in ABA or related field;
  • Demonstrated ability to drive and manage change in a planful, systematic way, engaging others through the process;
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills;
  • Fiscal management skills necessary to sustain and grow programs and services to achieve strategic goals and objectives;
  • Effective decision-making and problem-solving capabilities;
  • Strong analytical skills.

Job Duties:

  • Maintain caseload as determined by supervisor including responsibilities for initial/ongoing assessment, ongoing supervision, and conducting regular parent coaching meetings
  • Meet annual productivity requirements as set by MetroEHS
  • Ensure clinical compliance with regulatory bodies and best practices in the development and implementation of behavior support plans aimed at reducing the frequency and severity of problematic behaviors
  • Onboard and train new BCBAs upon arrival to the clinic
  • Provide supervision, training, and oversight to ABA clinical staff (including BCBAs, RBTs, and BTs)
  • Review and approve all clinical documentation for BCBAs prior to submission
  • Conduct weekly meetings with BCBAs to ensure satisfactory progress towards annual productivity requirements, timely submission of required documentation, and delivery of services that are appropriate to clients
  • Complete annual performance reviews for all BCBAs
  • Complete annual performance reviews for all BTs/RBTs in conjunction with other clinic BCBAs
  • Ensure implementation of all performance improvement activities, including complete and accurate documentation
  • Build staff/clinic capacity to serve more families
  • Develop/retain clinical staff through professional development and supervision
  • Develop effective systems for evaluating, monitoring, and improving overall efficiency of ABA program, individual and family outcomes, and staff performance
  • Collaboratively support the diversification and collaboration of OT/SLP therapy services
  • Direct, refine, and advance our clinical model to remain current with state-of-the art research and evidence-based practices
  • Will report to the onsite Clinic Director at said MetroEHS Pediatric Neighborhood Therapy Center.
