Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Kitchen Assistant to join our team. As a Kitchen Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our kitchen operations and ensuring the smooth running of meal preparation. Shifts: We are open Monday - Thursday. Closed Friday and weekends. Great job for students and those looking for a few hours to pickup during the day. Shift would be 10am -2pm. More if desired.

Duties:
- Assist in food preparation, including chopping vegetables, preparing sauces, and marinating meats
- Help with cooking tasks, such as grilling, baking, and frying
- Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and workstations
- Maintain inventory of food supplies and notify the supervisor when items need to be restocked
- Assist in receiving and storing food deliveries
- Follow proper food safety and hygiene procedures at all times
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure efficient workflow and timely meal service
- Support catering events by setting up tables, arranging food displays, and serving guests as needed

Experience:
- Previous experience in the food industry or a similar role is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of basic food safety practices is a plus
- Familiarity with meal preparation techniques is beneficial
- Ability to work well in a team environment and follow instructions
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting

This is a paid position with competitive compensation based on experience.

Note: All positions must be paid, including internship positions.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 12 – 20 per week
