Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Market Manager to oversee our retail operations. As a Market Manager, you will manage a team, ensure efficient store operations, and drive sales growth. This is a leadership role that requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for working with employees, training and executing on sales driven performance.

Duties:
- Manage and lead a team of retail associates, providing guidance, training, and support
- Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth and achieve revenue targets
- Monitor and analyze market trends, competition, and customer preferences to identify opportunities for business expansion
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and operational guidelines
- Conduct regular store visits to assess performance, provide feedback, and address any issues or concerns
- Oversee inventory control processes to optimize stock levels and minimize shrinkage
- Utilize retail math skills to analyze sales data, track performance metrics, and make informed business decisions
- Manage cash handling procedures and ensure accuracy in cash register operations
- Coordinate employee orientation programs and ongoing training initiatives
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment to enhance the customer shopping experience

Experience:
- Previous experience in a retail management role, preferably as a Market Manager or similar position
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Proficient in budgeting and financial management
- Excellent knowledge of inventory control practices
- Familiarity with market analysis techniques and strategies
- Strong mathematical skills for analyzing sales data and calculating performance metrics
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective team management
- Proficient in administrative tasks such as scheduling, reporting, and record keeping

Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
