As a Scrub Tech in the Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR), you will play a pivotal role in assisting surgeons with complex procedures, ensuring the maintenance of a safe and sterile operating environment, and offering compassionate care to patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide professional and dedicated care to patients.
• Assist surgeons during operative procedures.
• Orient new Scrub Techs to all surgical areas.
• Maintain a safe and aseptic environment in the Operating Room.
• Demonstrate teamwork to ensure a sterile environment is maintained.

Qualifications

Required:

• High School diploma or GED.
• Must have completed an accredited Surgical Technology program or possess a minimum of five (5) consecutive years of training/experience as a Surgical Tech.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from either the American Red Cross or the American Heart Association.
• Valid Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification in the state of Oklahoma.

Preferred:

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with at least one (1) year of surgical tech experience.
• National Certification as a Surgical Technologist.
• CVOR Experience

Licenses/Certifications:

• Valid LPN license in Oklahoma or under the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC), if applicable.
