Qualifications

Required:

• Associate degree or higher
• At least 1 year of experience in any of the following areas:
• Home Health
• Medical-Surgical (Med-Surg)
• Hospice
• Acute Care
• Burn Unit/Wound Clinic
• Emergency Department (ED)
• Critical Care
• Oncology
• Necessary Licenses/Certifications:
• Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Jersey (NJ)
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS) Certification

Preferred:

• 1 years of experience in On-Call Nursing
• Bilingual capabilities

This role is based in Monmouth County, NJ, where you will deliver expert nursing care to a diverse patient demographic. This opportunity involves a rotating shift pattern and comes with comprehensive benefits and professional equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor patients, documenting significant conditions and responses, and communicate any critical information to the supervising staff or physicians.
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with healthcare providers, third parties, patients, and families.
• Apply nursing process principles for data collection, planning, and evaluating nursing care.
• Provide direct or indirect skilled nursing care to diverse age and diagnostic groups.
• Implement preventative, therapeutic, and rehabilitative nursing care using detailed nursing knowledge and skills.
• Employ effective interviewing techniques, set limits, and perform role-specific data collection.
• Communicate important health information timely and effectively through both oral and written means.
• Respond to emergencies in alignment with nursing standards, policies, and protocols.
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety.

Schedule and Shift Details:

• Rotating shifts: 1 week on, 1 week off (4:30 PM - 8:30 AM).

Orientation:

• Occurs monthly and extends over 2 full weeks.

• Expected to conduct 5-7 visits per day, varying by the type of visit
• Must be able to cover the entire county

Dermatology, OB/L D, Urology, Pediatrics, Psychiatry, Urgent Care, Surgery, Dialysis, and other specialties are not allowed.
