Qualifications:

• Associate degree or higher in Nursing.
• Our award winning client seeks RNs with any of the following experiences: acute care, med surg, home health, palliative, critical care, ED, inpatient, burn/wound care, or oncology.

Required:

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New Jersey (NJ).
• Valid American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS) certification.

Preferred:

• Bilingual in Spanish (preferred).
• RN License Number.

Overview:

Join our dynamic team at our Award Winning Client in Somerville, NJ, and play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care. As a Home Health RN, you will provide skilled nursing care to diverse patient populations, utilizing your expertise in medical-surgical, home health, and wound care settings. You will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, ensuring the highest standards of care while maintaining patient safety and confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct or indirect skilled comprehensive nursing care to various age and diagnostic groups.
• Utilize the nursing process for data collection, planning, and evaluation of care.
• Implement preventive, therapeutic, and rehabilitative nursing interventions.
• Communicate effectively with healthcare providers, patients, and families.
• Maintain awareness of patient comfort and safety needs.
• Record patient conditions and reactions, notifying supervisors of significant incidents.
• Respond to life-saving situations based on nursing standards and protocols.
• Convey pertinent information to the healthcare team orally and in writing.
• Utilize electronic medical records effectively.

Schedule and Shift Details:

• Full-time position, onsite.
• 8:30am-4:30pm, with one weekend per month required.
• Coverage areas include Somerset County, NJ.

Additional Information:

• Orientation provided monthly, with two weeks of training.
• Travel required for 5-7 visits per day within the county.
