In this role, the Nuclear Medicine Technician will perform essential procedures under minimal oversight, contributing to the diagnosis and treatment of patients across various age demographics, from neonates to the elderly. This opportunity demands a professional who is highly skilled in nuclear medicine technology and who can effectively apply their expertise and judgment in a clinical setting.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assist healthcare professionals with the operation of radiation detection devices.
• Administer and manage the preparation of radiopharmaceuticals for nuclear medicine procedures.
• Execute high-quality diagnostic and therapeutic procedures utilizing radiopharmaceuticals and specialized equipment.
• Identify and handle radioactive substances necessary for successful diagnostic results.
• Process, organize, and maintain films and digital imaging.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
• Current State of California certification.
• Certified Nuclear Med Tech (CNMT).
• Current ARRT certification in Nuclear Medicine (ARRT-NM).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in Nuclear Medicine preferred.
• Willingness and availability to participate in standby/on-call rotation.

Technical Skills Required:

• Expertise in handling and operating nuclear medicine equipment.
• Proficient in the use of radiopharmaceuticals for both diagnostic and therapeutic purposes.
• Ability to support complex medical procedures through technical support and radiopharmaceutical management.
