Echo Vascular Tech

Position Summary:

As an Echo Vascular Tech, you will conduct and oversee echocardiogram procedures while adhering to industry standards. Utilizing your expertise, you will calculate, measure, and meticulously document values for physician review. Communication with medical staff regarding patient conditions during procedures is a crucial aspect of this role.

Responsibilities:

• Perform echocardiogram procedures with precision and accuracy.
• Calculate and document values pertinent to diagnostic interpretation.
• Collaborate effectively with physicians and colleagues to ensure optimal patient care.
• Maintain proficiency in TEE, Stress Echo, and Vascular Ultrasound techniques.
• Prioritize patient safety and comfort throughout all procedures.
• Provide support for in-patient testing, including neonate, pediatrics, and adolescent populations.
• Demonstrate proficiency in all modalities of Echo/Vascular for adult and geriatric patients.
• Preference given to candidates with Structural Heart experience.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified with the Registry of Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) and Registered Vascular Sonographer (RDVS)
• BLS Certification
• Minimum 3 years of experience as an Echocardiograph Sonographer
• Experience with in-patient testing highly preferred
• Must possess technical skills in TEE, Stress Echo, and Vascular Ultrasound

Call: Weekends, Holidays, After Hours (starting at 6:30PM); 30 minute call Response Time

Hours: 4 - 10 hour shifts

Pay: $84,000.00 - $151,025.00 per year
