Metro Assisted Living is Hiring a Caregiver Near Minneapolis, MN
Metro Assisted Living is seeking caring, compassionate and reliable caregiver to join our team and assist in our mission of enhancing the lives of young and aging adults in our facility. Metro Assisted Living is a residential assisted living facility that provides a variety of services that allow our residents to meet the challenges of aging with dignity, care and compassion. This position is full-time and will require 40 hours per week. We are currently looking to hire for all shifts including mornings 7am-3pm, evenings 3pm-11pm, PT overnights, and a weekend shifts.
Caregiver's duties include, but are not limited to:
- Housekeeping tasks and meal prep
- Medication and appointment reminders if applicable
- Medication administration
- Companionship and conversation
- Provide 1-1 support as needed
- Engage residents in recreational activities
Requirements to be a caregiver:
- High School Diploma or GED
- CNA certification preferred but not required
- Previous experience in a residential assisted living preferred
- Complete and pass the state required background study
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation to work
- Ability to treat and care for our residents and their property with dignity and respect
- Ability to engage with others in a friendly and congenial manner
- Possess excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Available to work flexible schedule

Pay: Up to $18.00 per hour
