We are Looking for an Experienced, Motivated, Personable, Blingual(English/Spanish) Medical Assistant for fantastic client of ours at a growing Podiatry office of four providers. A talented individual who can multi-task and perform well in a busy environment.
THE APPLICANT MUST HAVE 3 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE WORKING IN A MEDICAL OFFICE(NOT DENTAL) THIS IS NON-NEGOTIABLE
Proficient knowledge in:
The Medical Assistant is responsible for direct patient interaction and performs clinical data entry. Seating patients and turning over treatment rooms. Assisting physicians with evaluation, management, and treatment of patients during office visits and other tasks related to the visit consistent with his/her training and skills. Medical Assistants will be crossed trained in Receptionist duties such as answering telephones, appointment scheduling, checking patients in and out, collecting receivables, tracking referrals, and insurance eligibility.
Other duties: opening, closing, stocking, cleaning equipment, sweeping
EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 3-year work experience in medical office setting
PHYSICAL/MENTAL DEMANDS: Work requires dexterity for walking, stooping, and bending. Mobility to assist patients, or standing and walking for extended periods of time. Must possess visual and auditory acuity in order to communicate with physicians, co-workers, patients and other customer groups.
