Methodology - Background

Hello from Methodology! We're makers of food that’s clean, healing, and incredibly delicious by using “Food as Medicine” to help people eat and feel their best even if they have strict dietary restrictions. We are also relaunching all new sustainable, reusable packaging and you'll be an integral part in helping us save the planet by collecting them back in exchange for dropping off their freshly made food that week. We're bringing back the milk man and paving the way for other companies to do food delivery the right way!

The Gig

We're looking for wonderful people to serve as delivery couriers (your vehicle - you'll be reimbursed for mileage) to drop off meals to our community. Our intention is for our clients to wake up to start their Mondays or power through the last part of their week on Thursdays to a box of prepared meals which have magically appeared on their doorstep, facilitated by you!

The details:

• Pay will be fairly calculated by an hourly base pay mileage (all tracked by GPS routing). How many deliveries you can do is also factored in. You can expect to be making between $100 and up to $270/day after mileage and depending on desired hours for your delivery route. Weekly bonus pay will be provided for couriers driving van/SUV
• There are deliveries weekly on Sundays and Wednesdays. You can choose to do both days or only one (it’s up to you).
• The delivery windows are categorized as either Evening (5pm-9pm) or Overnight (9pm-6am). So depending on the route assigned to you, you could start at 5pm for evening deliveries or 9pm for overnight deliveries. The end time is also dependent on the time you prefer to end (must be before 6am) or quantity of deliveries you prefer (which maxes out at the capacity of your vehicle). We strive to create routes to your preference upon availability.
• Because the drop-offs occur overnight, it's rare that you'll interact with the recipients, instead they have detailed instructions you’ll have to follow about where to leave their order.
• This is a great gig for someone who wants to have a flexible schedule and supplement their income on Sundays and/or Wednesdays.
• Gig drivers who prioritize flexibility are encouraged and welcome! You can make deliveries at your convenience during your downtime, especially if you enjoy driving late at night when there's no traffic.
• Routes are predetermined and you’ll be rapidly trained to use our mobile routing app (it's very user-friendly and intuitive)
• When you come to pick up orders for the next delivery run, you'll return to our kitchen to return used coolers along with glass jars so they can be sanitized and reused.
• We are able to get you started within 5 days!

Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must have your own vehicle with a valid driver’s license and insurance
• Must not smoke in a vehicle with our boxes/cooler bags present
• Reads carefully and follows instructions perfectly
• Has excellent customer service skills and will go above and beyond to make sure all deliveries are made accurately and all previously used coolers are picked up
• Pays great attention to detail and follows delivery directions impeccably
• Collaborates and communicates well with our team
• Has reliable transportation
• Reliable smartphone capabilities
• Knows the NorCal areas well and can follow GPS instructions without getting lost
