Methodist Rehab is currently looking for Volunteers to support our Volunteer Services Department.

BASIC FUNCTION:

Assist Volunteer Department with outreach activities as needed
Provide support to patients by escorting them to therapies, assisting with meals, fellowship, read, write letter, deliver mail, newspapers, celebrate birthdays, assist with checking emails
Assist with answering phones, call lights, clerical duties as assigned
Provide emotional support to patient, family members and staff when necessary
Befriend and respect the patient through your presence and acts of kindness by providing blankets, towels, books, magazines, newspapers, pillows, call light within reach, etc., as needed

QUALIFICATIONS:

Must be at least 17 years of age, college or adult
Must complete ALL required orientation to include, but not limited to: Pre-employment physical, criminal background check, reference check x2
Must meet all requirements for volunteering
