We have an immediate opening for a Central Supply Tech to support our Central Supply Department
SHIFT:
- Full-time
- Monday - Friday
- 8:00am - 5:00pm
BASIC FUNCTION:
- Dispenses non-reusable supplies and solutions
- Performs reconciliation of supply care inventory to patient charges and prepares lost charge report for nursing floors
- Picks-up/delivers patient care rental equipment to floors
- Assists in tagging/storing of patient supplies
- Verifies daily equipment rentals to computer charges
- In the absence of the Receiving Supervisor, covers for receiving, delivering and mail functions
KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1 – 2 years working in a central supply setting
- Must be able to write legibly and use computer, copier, telephone, fax machine
- Experience in shipping, receiving, packaging, and hand truck is desirable
- Capable of loading and lifting repetitively items weighing up to 30 – 50 pounds.
