Description

The Scan Center Manager is an on-site leader of day-to-day scan center operations. This role ensures that all quality and productivity standards are met and leads all improvement efforts. This role continually assesses and adjusts operations to increase the value of services provided to our customers, organizes tasks, time, resources, and motivates people.

Responsibilities:

• Schedules tasks, coordinates with various team members and interacts with other departments to accomplish the overall goals.
• Ensures effective employee relations, provide employee coaching and development, makes employment decisions, resolve employee issues through problem resolution.
• Balances quality, productivity, cost, safety and morale to achieve positive results in all areas. Work to continuously improve in all areas
• Manages departmental performance measures, including visual controls and provides regular progress reports to Business Process Management (BPM) Leadership
• Manages department priorities.
• Ensures proper functionality of document scanning machinery.
• Oversees and facilitate staffing and scheduling needs depending on current workloads.
• Tracks employee performance, attendance, and adherence to company policy through leading by example
• Performs accident investigations and ensures the appropriate corrective actions are implemented
• Communicates with co-workers, management, clients and others in a courteous and professional manner

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, management, logistics and 5 years of progressive management experience in a manufacturing or production environment; or 7 years in an equivalent operational role.
• Previous supervisory or management experience required.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills including reading, writing, and interpreting policies, contracts, and handbooks.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, such as Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Outlook
• Self-starter attitude with tenacity and drive; Constantly looks for ways to improve processes and procedures.
• Thorough understanding of compliance requirements involving environment (EPA), health and safety standards (OSHA), and other regulatory expectations
