This position will provide overall leadership and strategic direction for the Sandusky International, Ohio Division, its employees, projects, products and customer relationships. General Manager responsibilities primarily include fostering a culture that Makes A Lasting Difference by Choosing To Be Safe, Making An Impact, Pushing The Limits and Serving Each Other. Additional responsibilities include guiding Sandusky leadership in the development and execution of a business plan, leveraging sales channels for new products, and division financial performance. Long-term success to ensure Sandusky is Growing With Purpose requires overseeing all aspects of Sandusky’s Way Initiatives, Bettering People’s Lives, Improving The Way We Work, and Partnering With Leading Industries.

Working with and through the Sandusky and broader MetalTek sales force, this position is responsible for exploring new market and product opportunities to diversify and grow Sandusky’s offerings in the paper, defense, and engineered products markets. Expanding those new product ideas and concepts into profitable business through the utilization of existing processes as well as the development of new capabilities as required.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a comparable combination of education and experience. 15 years of experience in a metal casting environment with progressively greater management responsibility, including P&L. Excellent business acumen, demonstrated leadership ability, and strong negotiating skills. Centrifugal casting background and/or metallurgical knowledge related to steel, copper, nickel, and cobalt alloys would be beneficial.
