Responsibilities : Prepares work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specification and part lists, gathers parts, subassemblies, tools and materials.
Positions part and subassemblies by using templates and reading measurements.Assembles assigned product parts in accordance with production guidelines and process plans;
assembles components by examining connections for correct fit, fastens parts and subassemblies.Performs spot checks of products to ensure adherence to approved quality standards.
Verifies specifications by measuring completed component.Resolves assembly problems by altering dimensions to meet specifications.
Completes and documents production and quality paperwork.Maintains supply inventory by checking stock to determine inventory levels;
Maintains work areas in a clean, orderly, and safe manner to include returning tools to designated areas.Coordinates day-to-day departmental operational schedule with Plant Manager.
Prioritizes jobs as required to meet production schedule delivery dates.Motivates department and ensures employees have the appropriate training and other resources to perform their job.
