Job Summary:

The Turret Programmer will be responsible for programming turret punch presses using Radan and AutoCAD software. This person will collaborate closely with the order processing and production team to ensure the efficient and accurate production of high-quality metal components.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Utilize Radan and AutoCAD software to program turret punch presses according to order processing shop drawings, customer specification and production requirements.
• Collaborate with the production team to optimize tooling selections and develop efficient punching strategies for various metal materials.
• Interpret order processing drawings to determine the required operations, die clearances and dimensions for each component.
• Review and modify existing program to improve efficiency, minimize waste and enhance product quality.
• Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in turret programming techniques and software to enhance productivity and efficiency.
• Maintain electronic turret files, to ensure system organization.
• Create and maintain Radan templates.
• Assist with Order Processing as time time allows.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Auto-CAD software
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office programs

Education and/or Experience

• Associates of Mechanical Design Technology or Applied Science with drafting background preferred
• Minimum 3 years of successful work history

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $62,000.00 per year
