Metal Cleaning Systems Ltd is Hiring a Facilities Maintenance Technician Near Marshall, TX

Overview:

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Shop Technician/Mechanic to join our team. As a Shop Technician/Mechanic, you will be responsible for overseeing equipment maintenance, repairs, and part cleaning. This position offers full-time employment with competitive pay and benefits.Responsibilities:

  • Utilize and maintain various equipment and instruments, including Burn-off Furnaces, Blast Equipment, Compressors, Forklifts, Hydraulics, Tapping Equipment, and washdown booths.
  • Ensure all products are washed down in the washdown rack before the burn process.
  • Work collaboratively with the team, providing guidance and support.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues with equipment.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oven repairs.
  • Conduct thorough inspections to identify potential problems or safety concerns.
  • Repair or replace faulty parts and components.
  • Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repairs performed.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Coordinate repairs and maintenance schedules with other departments.
  • Perform loading and unloading for pickups and drop-offs.
  • Load and unload cleaning equipment.

Experience:

  • Proven experience as a mechanic, preferably in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of components.
  • Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
  • Good communication skills to effectively interact with team members and other departments.
