Monday-Thursday, 4:00 PM - 9:30 PM

Scope of Work

• Welding Structural Steel Components in a shop environment
• Working in a team environment to accomplish daily goals and objectives
• Use MIG and FLUXCORE welding equipment and other tools to continuously improve productivity

Major Responsibilities

• Read blueprints
• Weld parts as required accurately on the first pass
• Operate other necessary equipment and performing tasks to complete parts to specifications
• Propose potential quality or productivity enhancements for continual improvement
• Review of finished assemblies & parts to ensure accuracy against drawings & BOMs
• Report fabrication issues and assist in resolutions as required

Skills Required

• 3G welding test - MIG stringer downhill and flux core filler and cap uphill subject to bend test.
• Prefer welding certificate but will test on-site
• Familiarity with the use of Jigs & fixtures
• Ability to read engineering drawings
• Experience welding with structural steel

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
