THE ROLE
We are growing and need to expand our project management team to handle our increasing backlog. We are looking for a Construction Project Manager with experience in managing customer projects that involve a combination of structural steel and metal building systems. You will be responsible for managing scheduling and coordination of sub-contractors, internal team members (we manufacture the primary steel framing members) and customer coordination for 4-6 projects at any given time. While you may need to make the occasional site-visit, this role is primarily office-based.

Our unique blend of design, engineering, manufacturing and installation capabilities allows us to tackle a variety of scopes working both as a sub-contractor on most projects and as part of the project design team on others. From our West Tulsa-based office, we focus our efforts primarily in the greater northeast Oklahoma area, but have performed some work as far away as Texas and Illinois. Some of our recent notable projects include the Gates Hardware Restoration (Elgin Park Brewery), The Box Yard, Climb Tulsa, Admiral Twin Drive-In Theater restoration, Tulsa Zoo expansion and the BOK Center Arena. THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
We are looking for a self-motivated project manager with attention to detail and a natural sense of urgency. You will be responsible for planning, ordering materials, directing co-workers and vendors and coordinating with customers to meet or beat timelines and financial targets. Strong communication, problem-solving skills and an ability to work well with other is key. Knowledge of structural steel and metal building systems is a plus, but if you don't know everything, your teammates are always willing to help each other out if you ask. We are building Oklahoma one project at a time and need your help to make it happen.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee construction projects from start to finish
- Develop project schedules, budgets, and resource plans
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure project specifications are met
- Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure timely completion
- Conduct regular site visits to inspect work progress and quality
- Manage project documentation, including contracts, permits, and change orders
- Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members to provide project updates and address any concerns or issues
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field (preferred)
- Proven experience as a Construction Project Manager or similar role
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, methods, and materials
- Proficiency in construction management software such as ProCore
- Familiarity with Bluebeam and MS Office software is a plus
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Effective communication and leadership skills
