We're seeking a motivated summer intern to join our Protein Sciences team, playing a vital role in advancing the design and development of novel chimeric antigen receptors (CARs) for our cutting-edge CAR-T cell programs.

The Opportunity:

• Design and create innovative CAR templates to enhance cell therapies
• Master molecular cloning techniques, including PCR preparation, bacterial transformation, and plasmid purification.
• Verify correct cloning through sequencing analysis.
• Prepare lentiviral vectors for CAR-T cell transduction.
• Directly evaluate the performance and functionality of engineered CAR-T cells.

How You'll Contribute:

Your work will directly support the creation of next-generation CAR-T therapies, potentially leading to groundbreaking treatment options for patients.

What You'll Bring:

• Education: Actively pursuing an advanced degree in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, or a closely related field.
• Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
• Laboratory experience with molecular biology techniques (e.g., PCR, cloning, bacterial transformation).
• Experience with mammalian cell culture.
• Passion: A genuine interest in cellular engineering and the potential of CAR-T therapies.
• Familiarity with lentiviral production methods.
• Experience with sequencing analysis or flow cytometry.

Under the Federal Labor Standards Act, this position is classified non-exempt. The hourly rate range for 2024 Summer Internships is $25.00 to $35.00 per hour, not to exceed 40 hours per week. Compensation for this internship will be determined at the Company’s sole discretion and may vary based on depth of relevant experience and education.
