Applied Visiting Researcher Responsibilities:

• Perform research to advance the science and technology of systems.
• Influence progress of relevant research communities by producing publications.
• Apply the research results to advance Meta's large-scale production systems.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Computer Science Knowledge in computer systems.
• Knowledge in computer systems.
• Must obtain work authorization in the country of employment at the time of hire, and maintain ongoing work authorization during employment.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• A strong track record of research accomplishments in systems, security, and privacy.
• Experience in building advanced software related to computer systems.
