Status: Full Time

Hours: 8:30am - 5pm

Pay Range: $29/hr

What do I need as a Residential Living Counselor with Messiah Lifeways?

• Must have excellent customer service skills and competencies, including excellent writing, speaking and presentation skills, and the proven ability to develop effective referral relationships with potential and existing customers
• Ability to interact effectively with employees, colleagues, customers, clients and vendors at all levels
• Strong background in Sales, Marketing, and or Admissions
• Bachelor's degree in a business-related discipline including business administration, marketing, or communications, or social work, senor care, or geriatrics
• Minimum of 2 years' relevant work experience is required - preferably in a health care or senior care environment

What will I do as a Residential Living Counselor with Messiah Lifeways?

• Managing the overall admissions process to Messiah Lifeways at Messiah Village and our satellite campus Fernecrest.
• The Residential Living Counselor and the other members of this department are fully responsible for assessing the social and financial appropriateness of potential admissions all the way through to completion of a move to Residential Living.
• This team member will assist with the smooth transition of future residents into their new home. This will include selections and design assistance.
• Assists at Marketing events with hosting and presentations.
• Provides information via tours, interviews and written materials regarding services available at Messiah Lifeways.
• The Residential Living Counselor assists with performing a comprehensive competitive analysis on residential living at least once per year, summarizing recommendations in a report to the Executive Team
• Maintains information related to resident moves and new resident admissions into the CRM database
