JOB SUMMARY:
The Installation Coordinator acts as the key liaison between customer, management and on-site assigned service personnel regarding machine installations. This position will take ownership of issues and drive them to resolution in a timely manner; operate independently, managing multiple projects simultaneously. The Installation Coordinator performs in a dynamic and challenging environment with drive and creativity and has high accountability for company reputation, integrity, and results, which at times may mean extraordinary effort and working timeframes.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for providing exceptional service, support, coordination, scheduling, and execution of all installation activities
- Add installation jobs to service schedule and update customers on progress of installation schedule and requirements
- Review daily reports and updates from Field Service Engineers to ensure installation projects are on plan
- Coordinate shipping of materials or product when required for an installation job
- Proactively identify potential obstacles, conflicts, or delays and assist with formulating solutions to ensure deadlines are met
- Document deviations and issues that occur on installation projects. Identify trends and corrective actions for improvements
- Coordinate subcontracting of installation and service projects; source subcontractors for the job sites, verify/update subcontractor information, obtain pricing information and generate purchase orders as directed
- Review installation service reports and completion photographs to ensure work was completed satisfactorily
- Process installation billings through ERP system upon completion of the installation
- Update production schedule to accurately reflect installation dates and keep customer informed on progress of project
- Review work orders and verify pertinent information is available including installation documentation
- Manage list of completed installation projects and complete monthly reporting as directed
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

MINIMUM EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1 or more years of experience working in an industrial manufacturing environment, capital equipment/facilities engineering, or field operations
ADDITIONAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
- Experience with project management
- Excellent customer skillset which includes communication, priority setting, influencing and conflict resolution
- Solid written and verbal communication for expressing technical ideas and initiatives
- Will possess the ability to work independently while using critical thinking and problem-solving skills
