Mesquite ISD is Hiring an Administrative Assistant - Accounts Receivable Specialist Near Mesquite, TX

Mesquite Independent School District is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Accounts Receivable Specialist in the Business Services Department. The appointee will report directly to the Director of Finance and will be responsible for providing assistance to the Accounting Department to ensure the accurate and timely recording of receivables, monitor outstanding balances, and maintain the integrity of the District’s financial records. The processor will work closely with members of the Business Department, central/campus administrators and other district personnel.

Qualifications: The secretary will have at least a high school diploma or equivalent.

Preference will be given to applicants who:

have experience with accounting code structure
have experience with Intouch/Touchbase payment and MUNIS ERP
have experience in accounts receivable, billing or related financial field
have knowledge of computer functions/programs including Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and Google
possess strong analytical and organizational skills
demonstrate a working knowledge of basic office equipment
ability to mulit-task, priortize and meet deadlines
demonstrate effective communication, public relation, and interpersonal skills
have a service oriented personality

Salary: Pay Range: ATS5 - $20.60 - $29.94 (hourly); 226 days

Employment begins: July 08, 2024 or as soon as possible
