We are seeking an Order Selector to join our warehouse team. The Order Selector will be responsible for accurately and efficiently selecting and preparing products for shipment to our customers. The ideal candidate will have a keen attention to detail, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to safety and accuracy.
Responsibilities:
Read and interpret pick tickets or orders to determine items to be selected.
Locate and select products from designated storage areas within the warehouse.
Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers to transport and maneuver products as needed.
Verify product quantities and quality before preparing them for shipment.
Package selected items securely and prepare them for shipping according to company standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas to ensure a safe and efficient warehouse environment.
Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
Collaborate with other team members and supervisors to meet daily production goals.
Report any inventory discrepancies, damaged products, or equipment malfunctions to the appropriate personnel.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience working in a warehouse or distribution center preferred.
Ability to operate material handling equipment safely and effectively.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects and work in a fast-paced environment.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Commitment to following safety protocols and procedures at all times.
