We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Order Filler to join our warehouse team. The Order Filler will be responsible for accurately and efficiently picking and packing products to fulfill customer orders. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to meeting quality and productivity standards.
Responsibilities:
Review and interpret customer orders or pick tickets to determine items to be picked.
Locate and retrieve products from designated storage areas within the warehouse using hand-held scanners or other picking technology.
Ensure that the correct quantity and type of product is selected for each order.
Verify product quality and integrity before packing them for shipment.
Package selected items securely and prepare them for shipping according to company standards.
Label packages accurately with shipping information and tracking numbers.
Utilize material handling equipment such as pallet jacks, hand trucks, or carts to transport products to the shipping area.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas to ensure a safe and efficient warehouse environment.
Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
Collaborate with other team members and supervisors to meet daily production goals.
Report any inventory discrepancies, damaged products, or equipment malfunctions to the appropriate personnel.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience working in a warehouse or distribution center preferred.
Ability to use hand-held scanners or other picking technology.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Physical stamina and the ability to lift and carry heavy objects.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Commitment to following safety protocols and procedures at all times.
