Description of Role:
Our growing security and patrol organization is currently accepting applications for the role of Security Officer. The successful candidate will identify and report incidents and will be responsible for the security and safety of our mall patrons. The Security Officer will tour the facility to identify any irregularities, observe and report safety incidents. Also responsible to enforce regulations for the facility in regards to the premises, personnel and visitors. The Security department is an integral part of the mall management team.

Tasks:
- Ensure the security, safety and well-being of all personnel, visitors and the
premises
- Provide excellent customer service
- Adhere to all company service and operating standards
- Remain in compliance with local, state and federal regulations
- Immediately respond to emergencies to provide necessary assistance to
employees and customers
- Protect the company's assets relative to theft, assault, fire and other safety issues
- Follow procedures for various initiatives, including fire prevention, property patrol, traffic control and accident investigations

Skills and Requirements:
- 18 years of age
- High School Diploma or GED required
- MUST have a current D Security License
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Capable of following instructions
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Willingness to participate in the company's screening process, including drug
screen and background investigation
- Knowledge of security operations and procedures
- Work as a team member with mall management, housekeeping and
maintenance staff regarding safety and security issues.
- Work Schedule: Part time(33 hrs min), varied hours from
Monday - Sunday.
