Job Goal: Provide professional development, coaching, and support to administrators & teachers in analyzing data and using data to differentiate instruction while utilizing research-based instructional practices and interventions that will improve student achievement.

Terms of Employment: 2024-2025 School Year Temporary one-year assignment (grant-funded)

Contract: Full Time, Regular Contract

Performance Responsibilities:

• Research and provide content knowledge, resources, and support for administrators and teachers about learning and teaching practices that will include effective teaching strategies and interpretation/use of assessment results.
• Works with professional educators to develop a data-driven culture that focuses on using data to drive instructional practices.
• Assist schools with analyzing formative and summative data and plan for improvement by using the identified strengths and weaknesses.
• Participates in personal professional development including coach training, attending workshops, reading current research, and other activities.
• Participates as a member of the corporation improvement/data analysis committees and provides guidance in curriculum maps, assessments, textbook adoption, and other curriculum-related topics.
• Serves as a resource in identifying appropriate instructional strategies and interventions to improve student achievement for all students.
• Maintains confidentiality of schools, teachers, and classrooms.
• Prepares forms, records, reports, etc… as requested.
• Maintains paperwork consistently, appropriately, and in a timely manner.
• Maintain data warehouse and update consistently by displaying current corporation data.
• Work with administrators to run data reports and identify target students based on data.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of five years of teaching experience
• Experience in conducting staff development
• Teacher Certification
• A deep understanding of the Indiana Academic Standards
• In-depth knowledge of best practices
• Evidence of successful leadership at a grade level, building level, or district level
• Evidence of strong interpersonal skills
