Resident Care Director – Assisted Living

Merrill Gardens at Renton Centre has expanded and is growing! We are searching for a Resident Care Director (LPN) for our Renton Centre community in Renton, WA. Our current Resident Care Director is retiring this summer, and we are looking to hire her replacement with a start date in mid to late May.

What You’ll Need:

• LPN/Licensed Practical Nurse with a current Washington State License
• Experience in Assisted Living, Geriatric Nursing, Gerontology and/or Dementia Care
• Demonstrated ability to build relationships with residents, family members, and your team, strong communication skills, business acumen, knowledge of budgeting and cost control
• Knowledge of assessment tools, service plan development, electronic medication management systems, infection control practices and safety procedures
• Skills in promoting teamwork, leadership, team member empowerment, and responsiveness to resident needs

What You’ll Do:

The Resident Care Director is responsible for providing oversight for resident care and direct supervision of caregivers delivering care and services to residents as well as:

• Assisting in setting the tone and partnering with the General Manager in the overall leadership of community operation
• Assuring compliance with applicable regulatory requirements and the standards of excellence established by Merrill Gardens
