Merrell Transport is Hiring a Local Hazmat Overnight Driver Home Daily Near Sand Springs, OK
Job Description: Merrell Transport LLC-Local Hazmat Tanker Driver What We Offer:
Hourly Pay for Local Driver with Hazmat/Tanker endorsement while not running hazardous loads is $24/Hr
Hazardous Pay is 22.5% of the line haul for the first 30-60 days (in training), 25% after training, Premium Pay is 27% After 5 months w/o accidents, writeups, citations, etc.
Overnight Bonus Pay Per Load
A driver in this position can average of $1,250-$1,500 gross pay a week.

Must Be Able To:
Must be able to work overnights (90-95% of runs will be overnight)
Available To Work 40-50 Hours a week
Available to work 7 days as needed
Run local loads as needed (Hazmat and Non Hazmat)
Shuttle Trailers to shippers in order to Pre-Load them for OTR Drivers, no finger printing freight.
The majority of your day to day will be running local Hazmat Loads...If you're one of those guys running around in a truck with a camera facing you while driving, safety points being deducted because you get a drink of water, micro-managed, or being forced to get your vaccination...Then you should probably consider Merrell. There is no micromanagement here.

3 year’s verifiable class A driving experience preferred. If less than 3 years experience then must have 160 hours driving school certificate of completion.
Can safely maneuver a dry van, reefer, & tankers.
Class A CDL License
Minimum 23 years of age to drive (per D.O.T regulations)
Must have a favorable Motor Vehicle Record with no major moving violations in the past five years
Current D.O.T Physical
Must be legally eligible to work in the United States
Must be able to successfully pass a background screening, pre-employment drug screening and road test
Respects and follows all Department of Transportation rules and regulations
