Registered Nurse (RN) - Observation/Clinical Decision Unit

About Our Unit: 

• 2 South CDU (Clinical Decision Unit) is a 27 bed Observation, Medical, Cardiac, Telemetry unit that has been designated as the primary unit for observation care. Our team consists of Registered Nursing staff who have advanced cardiac life support, are stroke certified, and trauma certified. As a team, we work closely with our certified nursing assistants who help us provide dedicated and committed care.
• Registered Nurse skills includes medication administration, cardiac monitoring, intravenous therapy, oxygen therapy, blood transfusions, wound care, titration of drips
• 1:5 Nurse to Patient Ratio

Requirements

• BSN or willing to obtain within 5 years of hire
• Minimum of one year experience as a Registered Nurse
• Current Maryland RN license or eligible for
• Current BLS
