JOB SUMMARY:
Occupational Therapist is to plan, organize, develop, and direct Occupational Therapy services in accordance with current applicable federal, state andlocal standards, guidelines and regulations, professional practice act as outlined by the California Board of Occupational Therapy, and as may be directed by the administrator, to assure that the highest degree of quality resident care can be maintained at all times.
QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION:
Master’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college or university
Current California license as an Occupational Therapist
EXPERIENCE:
Must have training in rehabilitative and therapy services.
Prior experience in a therapist capacity in a hospital, skilled nursing care facility, or other related medical facility is preferred.
Clinical knowledge and skill, or ability to develop knowledge and skills required for evaluation and treatment of patients.
