Job Description: Responsible for obtaining diagnostic quality computed tomography (CT scans) images according to pre-established guidelines. Schedules and observes time-management techniques according to departmental productivity and efficiency standards while observing a quality patient care experience.
Job Requirements: Graduate of a radiographer program. One (1) year of clinical CT and/or Radiation Technology experience in an acute care setting is preferred. Licensure in Medical Radiation with the state of Mississippi is required. Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiology and Computed Tomography (or within 9 months of hire into the department). BLS Certification is required (or within 30 days of hire into the department).
