Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Journeyperson Electrician to join our team. As a Journeyperson Electrician, you will be responsible for renovating and building electrical systems in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC). This is a hands-on role that requires expertise in logic controllers, low voltage systems, and blueprint reading. Duties:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings
- Perform electrical wiring and troubleshoot issues using schematics and blueprints
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
- Test electrical systems for functionality and safety
- Utilize hand tools and power tools to complete tasks efficiently
- Follow all safety protocols and adhere to industry regulations
Requirements:
- Valid Journeyperson Electrician license
- Proven experience as an Industrial Electrician or similar role
- In-depth knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC)
- Proficiency in logic controllers and low voltage systems
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately
- Strong troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve electrical issues
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team
