MERIDIAN SERVICES provides person centered services to people with intellectual disabilities in a variety of settings, including Residential (group home services), In Home Services/ semi-independent living assistance, vocational services, case management and other supportive programs. Meridian Services was established in 1980 working with SILS persons. Today, we have 30 group homes, 220 In Home/SILS persons, and 120 Case Managers with our company in Minnesota. Wage: $19 per hour

Bayport is home for 4 very active boys and young men that enjoy keeping busy. The people at this home enjoy getting out regularly to enjoy their local community by walking, biking, and attending community events. In this position, staff focus on routines, transitions, and sensory diets as well as supporting the person in all aspects of daily living. We are looking for a staff that is patient and comfortable with personal cares. Staff at this program need to be a self-starter and take the initiative to complete tasks without being asked to do so. A good knowledge of autism is preferable.

As a Direct Support Professional, you will support our people served with daily activities that include working on outcomes designed for each person served at a variety of residential group homes. Outcomes are designed to increase independence in skills. These may include learning more about community resources, finding hobbies, working on personal cares, and meal preparations/planning or budgeting. We tailor our services to each person and their needs and wishes. Additionally, as a Direct Support Professional, the position entails medication administration, cooking, cleaning, and personal cares (baths and helping change briefs) for persons served.
