Meridian Medical offers nutritional counseling for all primary care patients to achieve health goals and manage medical diseases such as hypertension, hyperlipidemia and diabetes. Candidates should have formal nutritional training however licensure is not required but formal nutrition training is required. Assessments must be documented in SOAP format.
Meridian offers the Lifestyle Change Program to reverse prediabtes. Candidate must coach the program and maintain records of each member's weight and excercise activity on a weekly basis to perform reports. Lifestyle coaches are trained to use a CDC-approved curriculum and who have the knowledge and skills to effectively deliver the program. The lifestyle coach’s ability to support participants, provide guidance, and help groups work together effectively is essential for a successful lifestyle change program. The program will be delivered via live session and via webcast.

3. The applicant should be familiar with social media platforms.
4. Inventory tracking of in-office products.
5. Coordination of care with medical providers.
