Overview:

  • Provide fire, safety, and security protection for Mercys coworkers, patients, and visitors.
  • Promotes and practices fire and safety prevention.
  • Performs all duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our Mission, Values, and Mercy Service Standards.

Qualifications:

  • Education: High School Diploma
  • 18 years of age or older
  • Licensure: Valid State drivers license
  • Valid local, state or federal Public Safety/Security licensure as required (within 30 days of hire)
  • Experience: Certification/Registration:Complete Basic 16hr Public Safety/Security course within 90 days of hire (May be done as part of licensure)
  • Other Skills and Knowledge: Ability to read and write the English language

Preferred Qualifications

  • Education:College degree
  • Licensure: Valid local, state or federal Public Safety/Security licensure as required.
  • Experience: Previous Security, Military or Law Enforcement experience
