Overview:

Under the direction of a physician order, plans and implements specific occupational therapy evaluation and treatment plan programs. The treatment is based on the patient’s physical, developmental and psychosocial needs. Provides advisory service to other team members to provide quality patient care. Functions under the direct supervision of the Director. Performs related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Education: Graduate of an accredited B.S. degree program in Occupational Therapy and have passed their national registration exam.
• Licensure: Must hold current licensure in the State of Missouri.
• Other: Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities: Must have general knowledge of evaluation and treatment principles for a diverse number and types of diagnoses.
  • Working Conditions, Mental and Physical Requirements: Patient care may include heavy lifting and extensive bending and standing. Physical demands are attached plus push, pull, and grip at 50 lbs. plus, pinch up to 10 lbs., kneel, crouch, and crawl minimally.
  • Equipment Used: May occasionally work with office equipment; i.e. copy machines, telephones, computer. Must demonstrate competency in equipment used for the delivery of modalities.
