Overview:
Directs and coordinates the technical and administrative activities of assigned laboratory sections. Responsibilities include: Strategic planning, quality improvement activities, financial performance, human resources management, and compliance with all accreditation and regulatory requirements. Responsible for departmental charge development, coding, and other billing activities. Develops and monitors operating, capital, and payroll budgets to assure cost effective stewardship of resources. Assists Laboratory Managers and Supervisors in monitoring/maintaining productivity standards and identifying opportunities for operational efficiencies.
