Overview:

The Clinical Secretary will function as two core positions depending on the situation – Unit Secretary (US), and Patient Registration. US – Provide basic secretarial and administrative support for the department under the direction of the Manager, charge nurse and nursing staff. Patient Service Representative – Perform the Quick Check-in registration process for all patients requesting to be evaluated or seen in the Emergency Department.

Qualifications:

• Required Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Other Education: Formal or on-the-job training.
• Other: Must be able to read, write and speak English.
